I greatly enjoyed large room, it had an exceptionally comfortable bed, central heating, multi-channel TV and a seating area. The location was absolutely perfect and favourable, the staff was amicable. Also, a historic 8-ft bronze statue was 1 mile away.

I really enjoyed my recent stay, especially the lovely breakfast and relaxing time in the garden area. It was perfect for unwinding with some fresh air after a long day exploring. The only downside was the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty at times, but overall, I’d recommend it for a cozy getaway! 😊

A Charming Escape with Delicious Discoveries
Staying in the main house was a good experience! The vintage vibe blended with modern comfort. Don't miss the hidden gem restaurant next door, where portions were generous and flavors were really good. Maureen's hospitality was the cherry on top!

The desserts were an absolute dream! We stumbled upon a local bakery where the pastries were as fresh as a Gloucester morning. Plus, the breakfast offered at the inn had charming historical vibes, even if the choices were a bit basic. Our Standard Queen Room was spacious and a delight to rest in.
While the lack of daily maid service was a hiccup, we were still able to rally and dry our towels on the balcony. And even though there was no ice machine, the nearby gas station saved the day for quick snacks!

Charming Victorian Inn: From the moment we stepped foot into this beautifully restored 1900 Victorian Inn, we were transported back in time. The architecture and intricate details throughout the property made us feel like we were living in a fairytale castle.
Limited accessibility: While we were aware that there was no elevator at the establishment, it would have been nice to have a room on a lower floor. Climbing 34 steps to our 3rd-floor room was quite the workout!

The chef-created cuisine was divine, the Victorian Inn's architecture and details were charming, and the staff's sincere hospitality made my stay delightful.
Oh, and let's not forget the joy of hearing the river flowing outside my window all night long. Absolutely unbearable.
